Default Need to see 13's

Like the title says i need to be in the mid 13's 5.3l -2012 4x4 cc- 3.42 who's there and what have you done? Its a dd so dont want to kill driveability at all.

A nitrous kit will get you there lol. Get a tune, and a 150 shot. Drives normal until you active the nitrous.
But like stated above!! ^^^^^^^ turbo is the way to go

Nitrous! If you're going for 13's, I wouldn't spend the $ a turbo setup would demand.

How deep are your pockets and do you want always there power or do you want to keep filling up bottles?

^^^ exactly y u should do a turbo it's always there no need to need a refill at the wrong time lol

for mid 13s in a 4x4, assuming you have taller tires, 4.10 gears would help it get going. the usual bolt ons...cold air intake or airaid jr kit, underdrive pulley, long tubes, 3000 stall and a 218-222 eps cam or some similar. good luck with your project, rob

That seems like alot to ask for with that big and heavy truck and a 5.3. Nitrous could likely do it, but that's only fun while you are on the bottle. There is the s/c or turbo route but by the time you are done and it is running right you have spent 5-8k+. The other option is the bolt-on/cam/stall route but that is going to kill driveability in my opinion. Maybe you should look into swapping in a 6.2 or even larger stroker or can the idea of a fast truck and buy a car for going fast.

well i thought both ways, turbo but not sure whats the best one and then i also thought the bolt-ons -CAI,HEADERS,UDP,CAM,STAT,TUNE AND BOTTLE. But im not sure whats the best for me I drive alot "trucks 4months old has 9,000 on it"so i need somthing that is not going to be trouble id like to be at about 4-5k. What do you guys think??
