Default Need pics of lifted trucks!!

I'm planning on a 3" body lift going on in the next few weeks (I'd rather go with a suspension lift, but too rich for my blood right now). I'm undecided on rim/tire sizes. If you post a pic, please give me these sizes. I'm going to lift my 01 GMC Z71...I'm presently thinking of 33"MT's on 16" Weld Scorpios...anyone fit bigger tires with this size lift??? Thanks!!

Hey BadBlackZ...you're the one that convinced me to look into this in the first place. I'm guessing that 33's are the biggest you can get on a 3" lift? Also, how bad is the rubbing? What kinda backspacing did you get on your Welds? Thanks a lot!!!!!!!!

i'm not sure on the backspacing, but the rubbing is minimal, i know for sure you will need to do some trimming on the bottom corners of your airdam. just cut it into a 45 degree angle downward. if you do the 2" level in the front, you may be able to fit 35" but i'm not too sure.
defintely 33" would be the tallest on a 3" body lift for the front, the back u dont have to worry about. its mostly the width of the rims that plays the biggest part in the rubbing, but i'd go with the 10" wide rim, not the 8" because the stock rims are 7" wide. 10" wide rims really give the truck a wider tougher looking stance.

98Z71 EXT Cab
3inch lift
alcola 15x10's
32x11.50 BFG ALL TA
32x11.50 Regal Mud TA's on chrome 15x10's for hunting not pictured

for the 32's and 3inch body lift you just need to trim the bottom of the plastic piece. Wait till you get the tires and lift on and trim off what you need to. For 33's you can do the same. Also you can crank up your torsien(spelling) bars for added clearnace but the truck will ride like crap depending on how much you crank them up. But you can squeeze annother 1-2 inches of clearance with them

3inch lift if the best bang for the buck.. I had a 94 Z71 with a 3inch body and 4inch trailmaster suspension lift(35's). I loved it, but go sick of jumping up into it 24/7, so i traded it for my TA

also make sure you get the bumper raising kit with the body lift

Hey BadblackZ...I see you're running 16's. Is there a problem running 15's on these trucks? Caliper grinding needed? Also, thanks for the pics guys...I'll be making my purchase soon!!
