Default Need new Kitties, what do I get?

was going to get these

now I'm not sure.

How does the magnaflow Y pipe flow compared to stock?

Should I just get new cats welded into the factory Y?

What kind If I go for universal cats? Standard or spun cats? Ceramic or metallic? Magnaflow or Thunderbolt?

What size universal cats would I need? Not sure the size of stock piping. Hard to crawl around under it with broken collar bone.

so many choices. Truck is all stock at the moment

Do they do an actual sniffer test where you live, or just an OBDII plug in for inspection? If it's just the latter, I'd save the dough on the kitties, hollow them bishes out, and spend about $250 on a custom tune and get the kitty codes turned off

BTW, it is my understanding that the Magnaflow y-pipe flows better than stock

No visual or sniffer, but I'd rather keep it legal for when I do decide to sell it.

Ideally I should just get a set of ebay longtubes to fix it. But as long as I'm living with my parents I can't mod the truck. That will change in a few months, but I need the truck in the mean time and I need to get a better job first

Not bad at all. The stock Y-pipe on our trucks isn't all that great. That magnaflow should be MUCH better.
