Get some 4:10's, a 3000stall and good size cam. That should help you out alot.

Ok here is the thing everyone in the world seems to overlook if you want power immediately from idle rpms, you do not add a higher stall the reason. I would think is apparent because you have moved the actual rpms the motor is engaged to the tranny up to around 3000 rpms and obviously 3000 rpms isnt anywhere near idle rpms which is what this guy was asking for "low end performance" for low end performance you dont want a high stall.

I would match whatever cam you get to the stall, you dont want to be stalling past where you are making power that takes away from power under the curve. What size stall are you getting? That might help us better answer the question.

of course nitrous will give you power wherever you hit the button

also if your gonna do gears they will raise rpms and play a role in cam and stall selection.

I Would Go Gears Cam And Stall And For Converter I Would Get A 3000 Tight Stall To Keep Flash Point Down So U Can Hit The N0s Off The Line And It Would Not Flash Through The Power Curve.that Would Actually Hurt U More Than Help U.

I thought you wanted low rpm power, now youve got a 3k stall

What are you actually wanting to do, any specific goals in mind?

If you want power off idle DO NOT get a 3k stall

Talking

evidently he wants a bad *** launch and not an off idle grunt. as for a nitrous cam. shew. i ran 4 different cams and nitrous.
216-220-525-532-114
99 fbody cam
224-228-581-588-114+4
224-224-581-581-112+4

i ran my best times with the 224-228 cam. 12.79@107--ext cab 2800 stall.175 shot. that was thru an 80e toin my 02 1/2 ton silvy.
