need long tube header pics, O2 bungs specifically
I have a simple request for anyone that as already done long tube headers on a GMT800 and runs the O2 sensors. .ALL THAT I NEED RIGHT NOW are pics of WHERE it is safe to put the bungs for the Pre-Cat O2 sensors, before installing the headers. I want to PRE-MAKE some of the pieces I need to do a nice dual 3” into single 4” system out of stainless. I AM planning a hi-perf 4" cat, and plan to put both 'after cat' bungs in the outlet side of the Cat. I have already purchased most of what I need. I will take photos if it works out right, and post later. thanx, Crossy

What brand of headers do you have? Speed Engineering headers already have the bungs welded in. The passenger side is at three o'clock and the drivers side is at twelve o'clock on my 1-7/8" set. You may have to test fit and check clearance of the o2's. The drivers side is tight with the floor on my SE set and with a different manufacture it may be better or no clearance at all using the Speed Engineering locations.

sorry, IDK, everything was bought from ebay out of 304 stainless, except the 3x4 schedule 10 bell that I bought from a pipe supplier. It took quite a bit of searching and several suppliers were 'OUT' of the dual 3" into one, stainless 'Y' pipes.
