man i was at an intersection and light truned green. didnt romp on it or anything. just normal driving. shifted into second and WHAM!!!!. no gear. lots of rackit. bang, knock, knock, thump. coasted up into a parking lot. got out and looked underneath thinking maybe the driveshaft snapped. but no luck. put it back in gear and no movement. just a lot of noise. then finally another thump and then nothin. just sat there in drive,3rd,2nd,1st,and reverse. wouldnt move. then it would grind going back into park. had to have a friend tow me home with his F350. that was a little imbarrasing. being towed by a ford.
how much was the level 4 and what was the part number. i cant get them to answer my email. too late too call.thanks

this is what i get for letting a friend do the work. real good friend, wasnt it? I could kick his a$$, this is twice, with the same problem. pretty sure i sheared the output shaft again. same symptoms as last time. screw the cheap route im going all out this time. either the flp or im having it totally redone with all performance crap.

I ordered mine on the 7th, and got a 10% discount that saved me $200.

$1795--level4 trans p#FLL-4l60E
$400---4l65E upgrade (5-pinion planet)
$175---shipping
$900---refundable trans and container core charge

I just called them, they answered first try.
