for 405 you need at least a high, high 220s if not mid 230s or better on duration.

for lift you need to find out how good your heads flow and make your cam have a little bit more lift than that

your setup wont produce hardly anything. it might even be weaker then a 6.0. those heads for a NA 400+ CI motor will choke it, a truck intake is abad idea on one as well. that cam would be like stepping back on cam for a stock motor. also 10.5 for boost, it can be done but yur in dreamland. as for not spinning past 6k? my quesiton is why, if you truely are building a motor its goign to be forged with proper tolerances and strenght.

yea the heads and intake have me worried. the motor has forged crank rods and pistions. was thinking about porting the heads . but boost would fix the choking problem and i only plan on like 8 psi. max

why did you build a forged stroker motor in the first place?

only 8psi, easy on stock motor
stock heads, kills potential of short block
stock truck intake kills potential of a high revving motor
212/218 cam belongs in a 4.8 that doesnt want a lope

come on man, if you want to make power something or everything about your combo has gotta change

yea think that i will lower cr and port heads. and run a cam with like 230 dur the truck manifold should be fine for a boosted application or go with a blower that replaces intake. i was going to keep all of the smog stuff on but that has changed
