Default Need help with Plastigage and rod bearings!!

I've never used plastigage so bear with me. I got them to get me some at work so I could do it tonight. I think they got me the wrong size??
I got my bearing specs from my friend at a Cadillac dealer. He said it shows clearance to be from .025-.076mm. The plastigage I have is blue-it says on the package use blue for .102-.229mm
Then it says use red for .051-.152mm
I'm thinking I need the red??

I think you need green.Plastigauge isnt super accurate but close enough
.0015-.003 thou of an inch would be fine.

I always use the green one and shoot for .002" to .003" on the rod and mains. Not sure about that metric stuff And remember, use the plastigauge with the bearings and everything dry (no lube)! Lube will alter the measurements. I have also found that plastigauge tends to err on the low side, that is readings a little tighter than with a micrometer, so don't worry if they show a little "tight".

I have used the red stuff in the past for rod and main bearings.
