Default Need Help on new exhaust set up

I am going to be changing my current exhaust set up on my 99 Sierra. I have a Flow Disaster cat back on it now and it has to go. I'm going to be putting headers on it to. I live in California and need to be smog legal. I have egr and A.I.R.. Don't know if to get shorties or not. I remember a thread a while back about TOG headers going out of business and those are the ones I was looking to get. I also need new cats. Mine have 150,000 + miles on them. So here is what I was thinking of doing....

Option #1---Headers, Pypes cat converters, hooker or magnaflow mufflers 3" in dual 2.5 out

Option #2---Headers, Pypes cat convertors, true dual with either hooker or magnaflow mufflers

Option #3---Headers, Pypes cat convertors, X-pipe, with true dual with hooker or magnaflow mufflers.

I am not sure what to do I am going to be doing a 6.0 swap and need to open up the exhaust. I also don't want it really loud. Any pics of your set up and sound clips will be great and will give me a better idea of which route to go. Also if you have any other ideas other than my own feel free to put in your 0.02 cents. I haven't bought any parts and am not 100% of what to do. I just need to be steered in the right direction..

Thanks
Danny

if you get the smoth bent 3" pipes option one will be cheaper, work the same, and look the same. IMO

I recall something about shorties not giving much over the truck exh. manis. That may save some dough...

Bassani makes some nice mid length headers if your heart is set on headers, or the big dollah LTs

Have you looked at pypes mufflers? They make some pretty good ones. I just put a m-80 on my Tahoe and we're about to put the M-80 axel backs on the chicks Stang.
