need help on installing mechanical oil pressure and water temp gauge.

i just picked up my project car today. 1969 chevelle with a 5.3L 4l60e dropped in. it has no gauges hooked up to moniter anything. the guy had a full set of gauges that he gave me but im not sure how or where i can install the mechanical sending units for the gauges. any help is appreciated. also i need to know which wire to tap into at the computer to hook up a tach. the motor came out of an 05 tahoe.
last question, i need a shorter oil pan. the truck pan sticks 2-3 inches below the crossmember. i drove 6 blocks and smacked it twice. thankfully the pan was stronger than the road
. i have a feeling if i bought proper motor mounts it would help out a lot. it appears they just made there own.
any help is GREATLY appreciated.

I have my motor in pieces, but here is what I did for oil and water temp sensors separate from the computers sensors.
Some motors have an external oil cooler and the lines hook up just above the oil filter. Trucks that don't have an oil cooler have a cap over the oil cooler ports. I drilled and tapped this aluminum cap to mount my sensor.

I drilled and tapped for the water temp sender into the water pump.
