Need help finding a custom grind or shelf cam for gen3 5.3
km looking to find a cam setup where I can install right now and later on future supercharger without re doing that work again if y’all know what I mean lol I have a 99 5.3

my goals for it street racing / weekend driver maybe drag out to the drag when have a change

So you have no horsepower goal and what about a stall converter?
We can give you answers but you gotta at least give us something to work from.
There is a TON of crap to think about here, you don't just slap a camshaft in there. You need to plan everything. Think even beyond the cam because you will need an upgraded fuel system, large injectors, your stock 4L60e is weak junk and will explode so plan to upgrade that. Rear end needs beefing up and your gear choice can also play into what you pick for cam size and stall.
No playing around when you are about to spend maybe $5,000-8,000 in upgrades.

If you’re aiming for that NA, that’s going to be hard to do.
As for a cam, don’t overcam it. I see a lot of stuff on FB where guys overcam the **** out of 4.8/5.3’s only to be disappointed.
The more duration a cam has, the higher you have to rev it to make power.
The offset is playing with the LSA. The lower the LSA, the sooner it makes power in the rpm range.
If you’re aiming for that NA, that’s going to be hard to do.

for a super charger but without redoing that internal work all over that’s why I want search around for the cam so I could runNA then install it once I save enough for the jon bond supercharger
