Default Need help with exaust set up on a 5.3

im getting some pacesetter lontudes and i need help with an exaust set up... idk if i should run 3in piping with a y pipe or get a x pipe and have two mufflers? right now i just have a magnaflow 1in 2 out. what do you guys recommend???

Borla XR1 3" all the way with no cats

I would recommend single 3 inch exhaust, alot of the guys running dual exhaust are the forced induction guys.

i like my gibson super truck, not to loud at idle but really wakes up when you start gettin in it. just my 2 cents

What other mods do you have? A single 3" exhaust is usually adequate for most N//A 5.3 applications...

id say tune out the cats, y-pipe it to a single 3" and pick your muffler of choice

i have pacesetter lt's w/ ORY, 22" magnaflow single 3" in/dual 3" out dumped. it sounds pretty good. prolly try a different muffler next year

jerry... very simple 3 inch piping with 3 inch y pipe to a 3 inch magnaflow or borla 1 in 1 or 2 out

no track times yet i need tires for my 17's or some slicks hopefully ill get some times pretty soon.
