Default Need help: Crane/Vinci Tuner

Lastnight, finished installing the following in my '02 5.3L GMC: Vinci 044 cam, manley push rods, Z06 springs, new roller timing set, ported oil pump and a flex-a-lite 292 fan. To my surprise it started up this morning, everything worked well with the stock tune. I drove the truck about ten miles but needed a higher idle speed for the cam and fans. Hooked up the tuner and at the end of the tuning process it said "Error Message: Low Voltage." Got a new battery (tested 833CCA), same error message. Truck wouldn't idle, tried to increase the idle on the performance tune, didn't work and idles bad with gas odor, tried to set the tune to stock, truck will not start now. Error message states their is a miss-match with the VIN#. Tuner is new and has been used only three times on my truck. Truck is now sitting with the neg- terminal off the battery. Any suggestions how to correct the problem. Thanks

seeing as they moved the truck section to a completely different website, i don't get over here much. now technically vinci isn't a sponsor here because of it. but, do a return to stock then reupload. if that doesn't work, then you call vinci (407)478-8388

ok just off the phone with vinci. already on the ball. 49er called yesterday and vinci put the wheels in motion to get the matter resolved. tech note: you must have a fully charged battery when tuning. 12 volts will not be sufficient. must be at least 13 volts. if you have any doubt about the battery, put a jump box on it. if you do not have a jump box, then charge the battery before attempting to use the tuner.

Update: Vinci Performance answered my email with a telephone call on Tuesday morning. After explaining my problem, they called Crane and shortly afterwords I received a call from Jerry at Crane. Great customer service from both companies! Jerry asked if I could send the PCM and tuner to him since my problem may be unique. I suspect the problem is the result of something I did or didn't do.
