Default Need Help With A Cam Question

Hey whats up everyone im wondering can any one tell me the stock cam specs in a 2004 z71 5.3... also looking to buy a ls2 cam and springs from this site for 130 is that a good upgrade for an everyday driver it seems it would make a good diference

Unless you can do the cam swap yourself and don't mind taking the time doing it, I say just wait and save some money, cause you can get a lot suitable cam then that like a 212/218 for a dd. But if you can do it yourself and don't mind, go for it.

oh yeah i can swap the cam and springs in about 4 hours im just wondering how these cams perform in these trucks

I personally think it's a pretty big waste of time. If your going to do it just get a little bigger and not screw with it multiple times.

I would personally look into something else but that is just my opinion.
I put a 212/218 highlift groud on a 114LSA and it put my crewcab in the 14.2's before the yank 3000 went in.

anyone know of this cam i cant find it........... every one says go bigger than the ls2 cam but vinci sells a cam smaller with less duration for towing and i do pull a 26 foot pullbehind camper if this would increase torq and power from take off it would be nice i also plan on installing yank 2600 and SW long tubes cat delete any one un familliar with this cam its 204-211-525-525

191/190 .457/.466 on a 114 I believe...
