Default need help

hello, Im having some problem with my truck. The problem is that wen I put the a/c on, the rpms drop to much to 450 to 500rpms wen is suppose to be around 700rpms. my truck is a 2003 gmc 5.3 l with the electric tb.Any help will be appreciated thanks.

sounds like your AC compressor is getting tired....

You also could have a loose or dirty wire. I had this problem on a 86 5.0 Mustang.

I washed the motor and the problem stopped so I never really tracked it down, but it worked so it was better.

well my problem is more noticeable wen I don t use the truck for a extended period of time or wen I mes with the battery.I know that the hypertech gave a code that has to do with throttle positioning or something like that can't remeber right know

you may have a dirty throttle body or atleast the part of the throttle body that opens up more when the AC turns on. Or the little motor itself maybe bad.
