You get everything squared away, I'm not going anywhere, haha.
I hear that, I'd love to trade places with my kids. Switch off between the two, haha.

Hahaha, that's great.
We have been pretty strict, straight and arrow, very little wiggle room.

I am in a round a bout screwed up way a single dad, work 13 hours a day, and my girlfriend just recently moved in and had my 5th kid, so hes kinda in an adjustment period....... He was dropped on my doorstep at 2 and ive had custody since..... He was "only child" for 5 years then my ex and i had twins and another one, when my ex and i split he was chomping at bit to turn 12 so he could move in with me and get away from her as well, so now he is having issues with another female being in the house along with another baby and my girls 7 year old....at first he was real good about doing his chores and stuff but here lately hes kinda slacked off..... But still asks for taco bell everyday and am allowance about once a week, and finances just dont allow for it, just last night i had to reitterate that his allowance is the internet he has to do his homework the electricty to use said internet and the roof that shields him from the elements and the food that he likes to randomly gorge on...... What i wouldnt give to be his age again.... Knowing what i know now and have to do it all over again...... Alot wouldve been different!!!!

I'm sorry man, that's quite the handful and I'm sure is very difficult to deal with.
It would be nice if kids new the value of a dollar and where it came from. Then, maybe they wouldn't ask for so much.
I most certainly would not want to be in my 8 year olds shoes, being a kid these days is not as enjoyable as it was when I was younger.
I feel for yah man. Maybe if/when you swing by you can bring him along for some guy time.
