Default NBS V6 to V8 question... p0717

My question is did I have to swap to a V8 Torque Converter or would the original V6 work? Motor is off a 05, harness is off a 2002 Sierra 5.3/4l60e, Computer is off a 2002 2500 6.0/4l80e, the truck is a 2002 Silverado V6... Everything is on and together but when I take off from a dig the truck feels really heavy... ANY ideas?

Was the computer maps changed for the 4l60e instead of the 4l80e? Your v6 if an auto probably had the good ol 4l60e and yes the converters are physically the same, some will say the stall is different cant say either way.

Thanks for the Chime in... I just got a 01 Gmc 5.3/4l60e CPU. Im going to try it out to see how it reacts. I thinks this is going to be the key.... One question though, How do you remap the cpu on HP Tuners?
