do a search on intakes, they did a dyno test or somthing like that with each intake.

there is alot of work to make this work, it took me close to 20hrs to get it all right, it will only take me 3-4 hrs the next time lol.

Kevin, just trying to figure things out here...

Why were you spinning? Was it track prep or more power out of the hole? Your 12.50/60s will come with your 60'. Put it back in the 1.7s and your ET will show. MPH may be in the tuning. I'd look into throwing a new tune on the truck. What about weight reduction? Was any done?

well like I said in july the truck went 12.81@105 with a DA of 2k, right before I switched intakes the truck went 12.90@104.?? with the truck intake, that was on a friday night with the DA of 1600' the next friday it went 13.20@101?? with the weiand intake and DA of 1465' it did spin some with both setups, again I went sunday and it went 13.00@103.?? with a DA of 1000' and again on friday with a DA of 500' it went 12.87@103.??

spining is due to lowering the truck and axle wrap. I put ap2002 16x10 rims with ET streets 2611.5x16 and it went 1.81 60' with a 12.95@102.?? It has the same amount of wheel spin off the line as as the stock intake.

weight reduction is the same at when it went 12.81 tailgate and sparetire thats it.

after logging the truck the tune for stock intake and weiand intake were the same no readings were different at all.

You think maybe you ddint give it enough time or variables?

What about that 12.87 spinning. If you could knock off a .1-.15 off yoru 60' that would probably be close to .2-.25 et?

If you didnt loose much low end, which from the sounds of things you didnt. The Wieand is deffinately going to flow better up topa nd that would probably make it pull harder up top. So which makes me think similiar to what sport side. Just get the 60' back down and your times would HAVE to get better?

well I put 600+ miles on the intake, that should be enough time.

60' were down to 1.82 and a 1.81 not spinning.

it pulled a 8.12 1/8th mile in 88* weather with truck intake, best 1/8th mile time with weiand was 8.15 in 65* weather.

mph in 88* weather 105, mph in 65* weather 103.
