Unquote The 315, and 325 hp claims are for the SS, Z28 and Firebird. The motor that Car Craft tested was bone stock right down to the exhaust manifolds it made 402 hp at 5700 rpm and 398 ft pounds of torque at 4300. All the testing was done on a engine dyno.

And like I said a couple thread up I am stating flywheel hp. Of course a Flowmaster wont give you 15 rwhp but I bet it will give you 15 FLYWHEEL HP.

I still consider the Hooker Headers a shortie, just because it looks a little longer doesnt mean its a mid length, you can tell the difference between the two plain as day the collecter is larger and located farther away. If it bolts up to the stock location its a shortie. Anyway who Gives a F*ck, this kid has none of it anyway.
Their are differences between production LS1s and GMPP LS1. Production LS1s have 3.90 bore and the GMPP has 3.98 bore. The GMPP also has a 10:25 CP as for production LS1s have 10:1 compression ratio. Also, on the engine dyno was the alternator and power steering pump present? Or were they removed? I did not read that magazine.

Also, I seriousely doubt just swapping the stock muffler to a Flowmaster would net 15 crank HP.

oh yay i dont care if it is flywheel hp you were talking about. a k&n drop in filter does not give you ten hp. if you think so then you are sadly mistaken buddy.

Stupid stuff? I think this stuipid stuff is what LS1 tech was made for and why the 30,000+ members are attracted to it. I hate it when people can't take anything technical. Not everything in life is Just bolt 'er on gain 50HP!

3 Inch into a dual outlet muffler. But my colorado keeps breaking down, and i busted the seal on the Tranny FLuid so it doesn't go ito gear. And the Engine has some prombles. So i got a 2001 Dodge Dakota guad Cab 4x4 now with the Stock 4.7L V8 235 hp. Its slow.
Got beat by A 1999 Ranger Extened Cab 4x4 with a V6

Hey chevystreetkid.

This will be my last post in this thread, as it is stupid.

Your story has changed three times. You busted the tranny seal on your Colorado so the oil is getting to the gears? Hmmmk! Shouldn't that be fixed under warranty and only take a week max?

And no, you don't know what the parts produce HP wise. I am young and haven't been around cars all my life, but I have turned a wrench on more than a couple things and I can tell you about what kind of power these things yeild.... and that you are wrong.

So, stop posting.... go to some other forum. We like to talk about vehicles here, but we don't want an 11 year old coming in here and posting false crap while his babysitter isn't looking.

Oh ya, I can tell by reading your posts that you have tons of knowledge about the products and their dyno results. PLEASE GO BULLSHIT ANOTHER FORUM.
