Sweet. that thing should be sick. what trans are you going to be using??? I am looking for a new one and want to see what everyone else is using.

 

im using may old 4l60e that went south. it's in pieces right now, im sending it down to a shop and they are going to put all the good stuff in it. also going with a 3000 stall the flashes at 3500

 

well, I am no Chevy transmisson expert but 300 shot + 4l60 = KABOOM

There was a guy from Fresno that had a 300 DP shot on a built 408 and got like 4 passes out of his stock 4l60e. So a built 4l60e should be good for like 7 passes

 

as far as what size shot i put on it, probly only a 200 or 250. i think a well built 4l60e will hold up

 

Good looking truck!! I dont know how hard you plan on beating on that thing, but a 383 with a 200-250 DP shot seems like a little much for the best built 4L60. I wouldnt even consider anything but the best built FLP 4L65 and that would depend heavily on if they think it would even hold. Good luck either way. That going to be a sweet setup,
