Take your MAF out and clean it with some contact cleaner and run a tank or two of premium through it with some fuel injector cleaner. If that don't help call the freakin police man!!! My truck withan STS @5psi is getting 18mpg with mixed driving!

Remember a half tank on a Chevy Truck as far as the gas gauge goes is anybodies bet and open to discussion!!!LOL

I have an 04 ecsb Z71 with the 4.8 and 3.73 gears. Just got it 3 weeks ago and have seen numbers of 16.6, 17.5, and 17.6, all being mixed driving. I am fairly happy thus far, but am hoping that a tune and exhaust will better my mpg.

The 3.42 guys will definately see better gas mileage than the 3.73 guys.

I try to stay out of mine, but Im sure that will change for a little while once I get my tune.

Thumbs up

Well my LQ9 6.0 VHO truck has 3.73 gears. I seem to be getting just as good as everyone else, if not better. The 16-18 city & 19-21 hwy that I'm getting seem very impressive for this truck. I would have never of thought it would get these kind of MPG numbers.
