Talking My motor's done

'06 LQ9 4x4:
AFR 205 (65cc) stage2 heads brought the compression up @ 10.8:1
Vinci cam 210-218-585-585-116
stock 8.1 injectors
ASP underdrive pulleys (alternator too)
160 T-stat
all new gaskets
Re-tuned, road/dyno
bolted to Pacesetter LT's, X and 3" duals.
----------------------------------------------
371HP and 381TQ at the wheels

That's with a stock airbox with a drop-in KN filter. When my Outlaw CAI shows up it'll go back on the dyno for a real before and after test and A/F adj. With 200 miles since the mods, avg MPG is up by 2mpg.

The cam doesn't sound very lopey but my exhaust is louder. It idles at 650, no surging or stalling and runs ultra-smooth. Best part is that it's totally street friendly with no sacrifices and nothing's hacked. Most people wouldn't know what they're looking at under the hood aside from the LT's.

Power is easily on tap and it keeps pulling hard from 2500-6000. The tranny and converter tuning shifts right with it. Still has the stock converter for now but after a few drag passes, that'll be next but I'll roll with this cam.

Then, NOS; the heads are torqued and ready to go.

It's got @10,000 miles on it. Think my warranty's voided?

Hell no! That's the engine GM meant to build, they just couldn't afford to!

Sounds like a great runner!

Great numbers, especially with such a small cam.
