Default My D-1SC is on the way!!!

I ordered my D-1SC today. It will be here in about a week. I still need some injectors so it will be a couple of weeks before the install. It will go on the 6.0 for now and then the 5.7.

Hey, Stupidfast let me know how you like it when you get it on, and get some et's and dyno numbers. I think it will be interesting to see what it puts down. Hopefully one day I will get one.

Why the the D1sc? P1sc would have been more than enough.

I bought the D-1SC over the P-1SC because, I never know how stupid I am going to get.
I do not know how much the upgrade was because, I got the whole kit as a buddy to buddy deal from a local speed shop. I hate to say a got the system cheap, but I did.
I talked to several people and they said a Vortech kit is more complete and is easier to install. Some people said all ATIs have belt and bracket problems. However, as soon as they said the Procharger makes more power I went deaf.

But the procharger is SOOOOOOOOOO cheap $2500.oo for a supercharger. What the hell if you can make what 20 more HP with a $3500.oo supercharger. With the $1000.oo less for procharger I can buy lots of go-fast parts to make up for it.

The Procharger I bought is not $2500. The second number is more accuate. Maybe you are thinking of a Powerdyne.

are you ok with the placement of the air filter? I don't understand why they suck air right above the headers. Thats just hot air. Maybe I am thinking you have the one I am talking about and you don't. I am talking about the intercooled one for our trucks with the cone filter straight on top of the driver side header. I saw on SportTruck magazine that the black Silverado has a procharger like the one I am talking about but ran 3"-4" intake pipe over and across to the normal airbox location.

If you have this one that I am talking about are you going to run that pipe to get that cone away from the header? I am thinking about getting one. That's why I am asking.
