heres some shots of the motor recently at a local car cruise. well since im sure some are wondering how things are going ill tell a few things
i have roughly 1k miles on the setup. first to say 4.88s at 70mph im only 1800 rpms. second i got my emissions done being a full SD truck. 3rd my duty cycle with the svo 42s are around 76%. the sound of the exhaust is a clean loud sound that just gets louder in dbs but doesnt change much at all in sound. truck is very tame up till about 4k. i can load it up in 6th gear at a low mph and around 1k rpms and have no bucking. i got the tune pretty good for driviblity. i dont have any cam surging or bucking, i can almost off idle pull away with this truck. it drives just like a stock motor does down low. it has horrible traction issues tho. i can grab third and have massive wheel hop. i never had issues before but now i do. theres no vibration or anything in the driveline. the air intake is extremely loud in sucking air knowing its a true 4" air intake. motor with the 160 stat and EWP never sees over 180* and soon as it hits that temp it drops down quick. ive had a few encounters with different vehicles on the road and truck just truely surpised me from a roll. ive been up to 130 and that was maxin out 4th gear. it gets up there without any question, it doesnt know its a truck. today i hauled my bike in the back and it didnt even know it was in there. i even had horrible traciton issues merging onto the local parkway. bike is about 400lbs or so in the bed and i still fought traction. rear tires are 305 also.
theres no dyno numbers or track times yet. i just a few hours ago ripped apart my liberty t56. i went to grab third and heard abang and there went the trans. looked underneath when it was loaded up on the tow truck and noticed fluid draining form the tailshaft. i had to undo the driveshaft off the rear inorder for the truck to be towed home. the internals of trans are shot. i can put shifter in a gear and it doesnt matter. truck is stuck in gear and wont move. it didnt move forward or rearward. so now im in hte market for a new trans. besides that issue and traction its been great. exhaust only has a drone around 1200 rpms under load besides that its smooth sounding at cruise speeds. last time i checked im within 1-2% A/F error which makes truck really easy to drive. i got quite a few hours into logging and drivibity tuning.
hope this answers alot of ppls questions. one of the vehicles i had a run in with was a high 11 GN. went from roll about 30 mph i was in 3rd around 2500 rpms or so and i waited from him to build about 4# of boost. it was even till i hit about 6k then i proceded to pull then shfited into 4th and that was the end of that. wondering how i would of done if i was in 2nd and actually in my power range. the range of the cam is from 3500 to 6800.

Cool. I'm tired of these 4.30's. I'll be going to 4.88's soon. If there is any hills on the interstate it is under load (maf @ 80+). Flat ground is ok but there isn't a whole lot of that around here. Yours is clean! Good job!
And good luck on the trans.
