Default Which mufflers sound the best.

Right now my exhaust consists of Edelbrock shorty headers, true duel Flowmasters with a Magnaflow x-pipe then flowing out of 3 inch tips straight out the back. It sounds ok, although I'm looking for a better sound. What would you guys reccomend, Magnaflow, Borla, different series Flowmaster (not sure which Flowmaster series I have but I think its just the plane Flowmaster mufflers. Also would Borla increase my hp more than the Flowmasters would?

I have only heard flowmaster, Borla and Magnaflow. I prefer Magnaflow and Borla over Flowmaster.

I have been nothing but happy with both of the magnaflow setups I've had.

my Borla is too quite for my liking. must be a 3 chamber. doesn't have that aggressive sound that i want. i am pleased with the looks and performance though. if i had to do it all over again. this is what i would put on my truck:

I have a flowmaster dumped and its loud but I feel no difference in performance. I am looking into getting a borla or manaflow put on. Gibson has a nice sound but a little too quiet.
Does anybody know the part # for your magnaflow or borla mufflers?

do you want a catback or just the muffler itself?

what borla mufflers are you running? i think my setup is alot cleaner/stonger sounding than that triflo setup

I dont think its too quiet, i think it was a little quiet at first, but then I installed ASM longtubes, cut the cats off, x-pipe, dual borla pro xs mufflers, i think its a sweet setup

If you want an aggressive sound.... put it to true duals and str8ght pipes. It is what I have and it sounds pretty mean! Can hear a pretty pronounced lope to it too.
