i bought the same magnaflow muffler for my silvy, what exactly was the sound like. i have not put it on yet. where in the rpm range was the resonance, was it deep and throaty when you got on it. just curious before i put it on

I had this same muffler on my 00 Silverado also, it was deep and mellow sounding for the most part but did resonate between 1600-2100 rpms. If it resonates to much for you, you could always get an 04 or 05 Hemi tailpipe, they are 3" mandrel bent and have a factory resonator on it. I actually did this with this muffler on my Silverado, back then the Ram tailpipes didn't have a resonator but they were 3" mandrel bent and it did fit on my Silverado.
