the borla clip sounded kinda raspy. looks like its magnaflow or hooker for the popularity contest...im gunna have to listen to a bunch of sound clips. with the aerochamber be too loud if i dump it? corsa is probably too expensive

o and if magnaflow...which muffler size? a shorter one to make it a bit louder or will it be plenty loud with the dump? center in/out? im guessing ill go 3" and have a welder make up the difference on the 2.75" stock piping

Have you looked at the Aero Turbine XL?
I'm considering the 3030XL for my rig but these muffs are spendy. (but they're T304 stainless steel which is what I'm after)

I was just about ready to take the plunge for Magnaflow's PN-12599 but hesitated when I learned that they use T409 stainless. (a lower grade)

Good luck with your search.

If you like it loud with a killer muscle sound, then the SLP Loudmouth is the winner. But it IS LOUD! And you'll get some in cab loudness. But if you want a good rumble but not too loud and no real in cab loudness, then the Hooker AeroChamber is a great choice. The DNA Spiral round mufler has a good sound, but still some in cab drone.

It's all about what you're comfortable hearing everytime you drive your truck.

My opinion is...."I like em' loud"

I have spintech and it sounds pretty damn good! They make a hand full of different mufflers. They have a good somber tone. Loud but not too loud, deep but not too deep. umm umm good! Here is a clip of mine. All I have is a Bruteforce Intake and Spintech welded as a replacement to keep it looking stock. This is there 2nd quietest but forgot what it is called at the moment.
