Default muffler out

I plan to take muffler out it is direct bolt to y pipe. GM factory Y pipe bolts. I plan to fix the hanger due broke. I wonder if I drive to store to get things to see what I need to work on my muffler. It will hurt to run without muffler on it. I know its loud. I just want to know if it not hurt anything or blow out cats?

English so easy a caveman could do it, your threads are sometimes very difficult to read. No driving with the exhaust unhooked from the Y won't hurt anything. It would be about where you would have a cutout if you had one.

Man, to me the sound of the stock exhaust with a cutout before the muffler is perfect. It's the perfect combo of rumble and not being too loud. With the LTs and y pipe into cutout it's so loud in the cab it was rattling something in my rear cab.
