Looking for a good sounding muffler for my Silverado....3" inch and 2.5" out....I have a Flowmaster knock off...want something different.

 

Have a Cherry Bomb Vortex 3'' SI 2.5'' DO. Pretty happy with it for now.

Try the Dynomax Ultra-Flo welded muffler part #17228 3" in/ dual 2.5" out. Had a single 3" in/3" out on my truck till today! LOL. Sounded deep and throaty not much interior resonance. I think you'd be pleased. I just love the Flowmaster sound and never had one on this truck. I've had Borla and Dynomax. I had heard one of the Flowmaster Super 44 series muffs so I had to try one but the other two mufflers are in the shop for a quick swap. Anyway sorry for the hijack.

 

What does the Thrush welded sound like?

 

Never heard the thrush welded but I would think it would be comparable since they're both made by walker.
