Tyler is a member on here. He made his own mufflers and that thing is LOUD. If you weren't deaf before riding in it, you would be after.

The Longer the muffler the quieter it will be. true duals would also be louder than going single.

I know what you talk about. Just try find out which size, dual in/out. one thing, my truck's stock muffer is single in/out. that mean i get Y pipe to hook to dual in??

No, you don't want to do that. if you only want to change the muffler do Si/So and dump it before the axle.

I not sure which one i can get one- Borla XR-1 12" oval si/so 3" Part # 40943 12'X4 1/2 X 7 7/8 or Magnaflow polished stainless steel oval- center/center -si/so3in./3in. 14in. 20in. part# 14319 or single/dual-3in./2.5in.-14in. 20in. part#14221. what ya think ??

MBRP is a nice system, just put an Alumimun system on a buddies 08 5.3L and sounds awesome. Has a little highway drone, but not too bad. Easy install and Cheap. Put it on ourselves in 30minutes. Also used a Volant intake, picked up 1.5 mpg. He drives alot of highway.
