I personally like Magnaflow. You can find deals on the 'net for them. Good craftsmanship from what I've seen, and they seem to hold up well overall even in the winter conditions that I've seen in the Northeast.

The Spintech Sportsman Street XL and it sounds damn good. It has a good rumble when you start it, then quietens at idle, but roars at wot. Drones some at slower speeds, like going through a neighborhood, but quiet at highway speeds. I still have stock cats and manifolds so I cant comment on any thing else.

A big Magnaflow will be mellow at idle and have a nice growl when you get on it.
