im looking to get a borla xr1 muffler but was wondering if anyone new the difference in sound between the 12" and the 16" . will the smaller one always be louder?

yes the smaller one is going to be louder. Pm edgarglz84 hes running a a xr-1 with longtubes and ory. He pasadena maybe ya'll can meet up.

im running pacesetters, ory, and a borla xr-1 with a 12 inch case. its pretty loud. mine dumped at axle and has quite a bit of resonance. id go bigger if i could do it over. or just go all the way out the back

thats the same setup I have except mine exits in front of the rear tire.... still to damn loud, good thinng its not my DD...

also "gtols1truck" has the same setup buts his is all the way back. seems like his is a whole lot quieter by doing that..

i got the same set up.depending on how you run the tail pipe you see the difference in sound level.right now i have it dumped and i kinda like it but goin to change it all the way to the back in a couple of days.

i think ill probably go ahead and get it and run the pipe all the way back and if still too much drone in the cab i could always add a bullet to quiet it down some.

Ive heard gtols1truck's (sammy) but only at idle i havent been in his truck when driving on the freeway. i know it sounds pretty loud at WOT, but not sure about the drone at highways speed. i guess i could always call him to ask huh.
