Default Muffler for 2010 6.2L 4x4

New here-done some reading-mixed results.

Looking for a muffler for my 2010 silvy 6.2L- would like aggressive while on it but no drone while cruising.

would like to keep the 3.5" stock pipe if possible-if not a cat back system would be ok.

I'd look into something from magnaflow. No round mufflers or chambered style as those tend to be louder and can drone more. Something that is oval design and 14-20in long are good ones to look at. Most should sound good when romping on it and no drone at freeway speeds.

Look on summit or where ever and see what they carry in that size and start hitting youtube for clips.

I have a Magnaflow 12909 on my 6.2. It's dumped with no resonator.

Sounds like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_E5417xFVo

I have the Magnaflow 15121 on my truck. I like it a lot. Very mellow at idle and cruise, and gets aggressive when you romp on it.

I started out with some long case Magnaflows, which sounded decent at first, but got obnoxious as soon as the packing blew out of them. Just cut off a pair of long case Flo-Pros which have no packing and sounded decent at first as well, but soon got to be very loud at 1800+ RPM. Now running Flowmaster Super 50s which so far are much more quiet cruising, but have a good idle rumble and are definitely there when I hit the throttle. Here is a little FM comparison video... realistic base tones seem to be missing listening to it on a PC though...the Super 50s are actually much louder in person on my truck. I would say my idle sounds more like the Super 10 in the video..but that is with long tubes, true duals and no cats. Flowmaster comparison

Just installed long tubes and an off road Y pipe on my 6.2, I'm thinking I may have a 22" oval magnaflow welded in.
