I have to agree with him on that. It is a bit of false advertising that could hold up in court should a lawsuit be desired. Unfortunately when doing business you have to cover all aspects and think of every possible situation that can or could occur which evidently wasnt done here. Just another FYI, the $350.00 excludes taxes. When I got my truck tuned by MTI, I had to pay for tax on top of the price.

I've just always gotten the feeling that if you're not dropping a load of cash at their shop they dont treat you the same. I've made phone calls in the past about a few questions and been treated one way, then while inside waiting on my truck to get tuned, I hear a guy put in a call about doing a stroker motor and some other things that would be pretty expensive and between my call and that call was a noticeable difference. Not saying they're shop and skills arent top notch, but I've been really considering letting Allen @ Nelson give me a tune and see if he can get some more out of my truck for me.

May Want To Consider "g-force"? I Have Called G-force Just To Ask About A Tune And They Were Real Nice And Patient About Everything... They Stayed On The Phone And Explained And Answered Every Question I Had... I Believe I Am Going To G-force When I Get Mine Next Month.... Plus They Are Real Close To Me Too... That's My .02

I totally disagree. You can't hit every detail (like you said). Just because superchargers and wideband tunning are not mention specificly. How could it be false advertising if it's not even mentioned. That's why you call to make an appointment to discuss the details. There is absolutly NO false advertising here! Come on Chago, taxes LOL!!! You know you gotta pay taxes when you buy in state.

Who did you talk to Pappy? If you were not happy with the info you got on the phone, why didn't ask to speak to David directly rather than break out the flame thrower on the board? Wideband tuning is a given with a blower to get it right. It's not mentioned as part of the price because it is out of the scope of the special.

OH, BTW take up any flaming my comments with me via PM.

If anyone has a sponsor complaint, take it to the sponsor feedback forum. That's half the reason it's there. Leave it out of sale threads.

Point taken Greg. I was disappointed in missing the order timeframe as I am traveling out of town thru 2/10 and thought I had more time. The MTI reputation for tuning is well known and respected. The post is a little vague and left them open for hits like above. It also gave me a feeling of "bait and switch" tactics. I know this was not the intention, just kinda feels like it....

in their own words ( Priced at $350.00 (Normal price $500.00) for both the mail order and dyno tune versions, we've seen significant horspower gains on nearly every truck that we've done and whether you're stock and plan to modify or modified and plan for more, this is a great opportunity to have your truck tuned ) looks like everything is covered to me from being stock or modified, come on in and get it tuned for $350.00 instead of the regular price of $500.00 and why would i want to pm you about this.

i have nothing to hide, im not flaming them, the advertized price of geting a tune on my modified truck by them for $350.00 was a lie, and to tell me that it ended on the 5th when i called made me flip, but it was all studers and beating around the bush when i brought up what was posted here on the board as their so called special.

no i don't want to do business with them, they wil never lay a hand on my truck, my money will be better spent in some one elses pocket.
