Had mine for about a year before my steering shaft did a number on my wire, so I had to scrap them and wind up replacing them with Taylor Thundervolts 10mm wires..

Just ordered a set of Taylor Thundervolts. Hopefully they work out nicely. I, too, am trying to get rid of the stock "shudder" at idle. We will see.

Your going to find the Taylor's really improve the idle, the damn thing idles so smooth I almost double cranked her a few times...lol

I was going to upgrade to the MSD coil's but for $74 each..seems pretty steep to me...I'd rather put the $600 benji's toward something else....

I may do the crane rocker arm kit with titanium valve springs, the whole nine...but that's another thread all together..LOL

Mine have been on for 2 years with no issues either. Just rotate the boot on the wire that's close to the steering shaft and you won't have any clearance issues.

Been there done that..didn't help. Had to zip tie the wire so that it wouldn't rub...funny thing is I verified the part number with Summit before ordering..I seem to be the only one in Av land who has had his problem..
