Default The most bang for the buck in a PROGRAMMER for a 5.3L

Ive been looking hard in to Diablo Sport programmers for my 00' silverado, also looked in to Superchips, Hypertech, etc. Diablo seems to me to have some more intense and involving settings and tunes, and personalized tunes. I dont have any experience with Programmers however, is there anyone with experience that can shed some light in to the best one for the money?

the programmers are garbo compared to a custom tune man, mite b a little extra but it is worth the money.

BUT if u are going with a chip, from what i have heard the diablo is def the best out.

Trash the programmer and get a tune like said above. More than likely it will be cheaper than most if not all programmers and give you a MUCH better gain.

Oh and welcome to the forum.

+3 a tune can be cheaper and works 100 times better than a programmer.

If you want to do your own tuning then laptop controlled software is the way to go (HPTuners or EFI Live) but be prepared to spend some time learning efi systems and tuning your truck, they aren't push-button systems but are definately the best bang for the buck.
