if you do all that stuff you wont need the programing anymore. they make 4l80 trannys that just bolt in with no electronics that do what you want. they may not be able to lock up the converter though. the add i saw said something like "they just start to get comfortable at 900hp" do a search for 4l80e and the place a saw will come up

i will do that. i was going to see what everone here knows but i will call around and see what all can be done. here is what i was thinking (in theory) dont know if it works like this have not played with edit yet and dont know much about the comp. but i was thinking that well i know you can turn off the stuff that operated the tranny in the comp but then this would not let the lock up part work either. so well what if you left it on and had the 80 with the comp stuff and man valvebody. then you would have to shift it but the computer would not be able to but i would think it would still be able to lock it up. or maybe you could put a verter lock up switch for like when you get on the highway.
i dont care much about around town but want to still be able to get on the hwy and get ok gas mileage. i mean if i did not care about that then i could get a th350 and it would go in easy and is alot cheaper (1500$) tranny and verter
sorry so long
