Ok first I ran a 5.3 with 150 nos headers programer 80mm throttle body 4.10 gears 28x9 dot slicks and ran a 12.84 but nos was backfireing so took nos off and installed a whipple s/c with a 10 pounds of boost I have not ran the truck yet but I want more so i dont know if i should go with a 14 pound boost pulley or s/c and 50 shot of nos

 

neither. i tried running 10-13 in a 4.8 for awhile and it let go. good excuse to put in my 6.0 now.

 

like I say I am running the 10 pound boost and it feels good I'v ran it 4 a while just not at the track yet

 

we always want more don't we? that is why i am doing a 6.0 swap today. be careful putting much more into that thing without taking apart the bottom end.

 

I will run it like that at the track in 2 more weeks if it runs 12.80 or so I'll leave it with the 10 pounder only
