Default Mods to the UPD

Just installed the UPD intake on our 5.3 Yukon this weekend and LOVE IT so far.

However, is there anything additional that can be done to the lower part of the stock box that is still in place? I noticed the hole for air to come in is pretty small....

I'd hack the bottom of that bottom part off so more air can get insid there.

I am talking about removing that whole area where that 4" hole is located in the plastic. I'd still cut a 4" hole in the metal plate for the "home-made" ram air too.l
