With a 220/220 cam you will need a higher stall torque converter (3000ish), if you want really good off the line performance... Peoples opinions on sizes differ greatly on this subject...

IMO, i would order EFI Live and a wideband and learn how to tune before doing anything else, then a cam, then nitrous...

Pretty much, but I think it is a ground instead of 12v...

That would make sense the computer does give everything a path to ground.

That would be like super sneaky, you could run a 100shot on a stock tune, then all the sudden run a 150+ and it would be all

Yep we both have the 4l60e tranny, the shift kit is more for insurance to help the tranny last longer, IMO it was worth it... It was a huge PIA and honestly I did not like doing it...

Basically we have the exact same truck... The larger cam you install the more it is going to need a tune to feel the benfits from it...

IMO EFI Live and a wideband are one of the best mods you can do or purchase.... If you do buy EFI Live and need some help just give me a PM and I will help you out, Keep in mind it take a while to learn how to tune... If you buy EFI Live make sure you get a wideband...

IMO order EFI Live and a wideband first, because anything else you do will need tuning to see/feel the effects, if you look in the classifieds there is a really good price on a V2 Efi Live and a wideband... Like I said earlier, learning to tune is not easy and you have a lot of reading to do, but if you want give me a PM and I will get you started...

Here is a free download so you can see what all you can do...

I am attaching a stock tune for you to look at...

No no no...you guys I meant run a dual tune setup on the truck computer but only one is in operation all the time. Re-tune the Tow/Haul button to do something different...like be set up for nitrous. All the Tow/Haul button does is tell the PCM to change the parameters of the shift points and retard the timing for a little better low end torque. I'm suggesting to re-tune what the button does, so that you can press it and run a special tune for nitrous use. Something that retards the spark if you're running a big shot, recognizes premium octane gasoline only, optimizes shift points to work around the nitrous, ect ect. Then just tune the every day driving experience for MPG to the max so you get fuel efficiency with normal driving and kick *** nitrous use once the button is pressed down. Guys are doing it all the time with HPTuner software, not sure about EFI Live, never looked into it.

Tow haul can not and does not do anything to timing.....
