so do you like that cam? I hope I made a good choice... Your numbers in you sig look good. currently I have the LS6 exhaust manifolds they look like shorty headers. From what I studied they perform very well. I will probably take the heads in next week and get them to make some suggestions. My truck is a short bed single cab 2wd (1968) so I am lighter than you. 13's would be nice...

I like this cam alot. I dont see why you couldnt run a low 13 with a lighter 2wd truck, 5.3 and the right combo. My race weight is around 5300
What tranny are you using? I would consider some lt's and also an ls6 intake.

 

The tranny is the 4l60e with the performance kit from transgo other wise it is stock. The LTs will be a bit down the road and maybe on the intake I was able to pickup the motor and tranny pretty cheap so it was a good swap for me.
stock (with nelson tune) I ran 9.39 at 75 in the 1/8 and 14.62 at 90 in the 1/4 so with hopes to break the 13's with the changes.
