Question Milling heads? Is it worth it?

It turns out that I have to remove both heads so I thought what the hell?
My question is , do you have to run a higher octane to prevent detonation?
Any specific tuning issues I would undergo?

Thanks a lot for yalls help.

You'd see a little gain, but not sure its worth it. If you cut them down .030 you'd be just under 10:1 CR. Thats not too high and you could still run a lower grade gas. If you take the time to swap cams at the same time, you'd notice a nice increase in power.

If you're pulling the heads and spending the $$$ there and are concverned about $$ on a new cam, your best bet would be a nice used one from the board for a 100 bucks or so
