Keep up with all the good reports, Im intersted in hearing how well its working for you. I have all the parts pretty much to build a meth setup from the S-10 I turboed, and am thinking of putting it on my STS. The intercooler does a good job of keeping the temps down, but even being pig rich (9.2 to 1) and with the 91 in the tank, I get some knock and pulled timing from 18* back to 14-8* in high boost at 10-12 lbs. I was making some runs yesterday, doing some data loging with the WB O2 so I could send the Computer off to get in leaned out and it was about 81* outside and the highest intake temp I saw was 98* at 12 lbs of boost. I don't really need it for cooling, but for knock i think.

Interesting. I'm not getting any knock at all on 91 Octane running 10.8/1 (still too rich) and I believe I'm around 20 for timing.

Jerry - what size Meth bottle are you running? I'm using a 2.5 gallon stuck where the old battery was and it fills the entire spot. This thing lasts forever before needing to be filled again!

The 2.5 quart tank in the same location. As much as i got on it, it looks like it didn't use any. I'm waiting on hptuner to come in so i can do some loging and adjust fuel and timing. With my predator hooked to it @16* timing and 10psi boost i have 0 KR

Very cool man

I'm going to keep my Alky kit and put it on the grey truck. We are going twin-turbo with a custom intercooler so I may have to spray more than I did before so I'm moving the tank to the bed.

Methanol is really cool stuff. Esepcially for Cali guys or others with hot temps and low octane gas.

Yep, AZ gets the same crappy 91 Octane.
It's pretty amazing to push this kind of boost, running on 91, and not getting KR or any pinging issues!

Jerry - did you mean gallon or is yours really 2.5 quarts?

I just checked my pics and I don't have one. I'd go snap one now and post it but my truck will be in the shop until Thursday getting the trans rebuilt.

Looking at Jerry's pic, his looks considerably smaller (yes, the bottle ). Mine is set in the battery tray area and fills the whole area. I'd say it's maybe, 13"x11"x10"???? Just a guess. But it's definitely gallons.

If I took 2 gallons of milk, side by side, my container is bigger than that for sure. It's the STS kit. I don't see pictures on there site either. I know the only other kit I've seen in person was about the size of 1 gallon. I don't know what brand that kit was though.

You would if you were a Meth addict!!

I went about 2 months before I had to fill up my bottle so I don't think its necessary to have one as big as mine. But its good for us lazy people...
