Default May have a problem here!

Well, I changed the crappy plugs out tonight. I think I have a problem. The last plug I get to, I take the old one out. It wasn't as easy to take out after breaking it loose. Well, I start hand tightening the other one. It gets hand tight, so I start with the wrench. I feel like I had to screw down on it father than the others. Well, I started worrying about that, its getting pretty tight, but I never got to get it as tight as the others. It seemed like I could have tightened it down more, but I didn't want to try it anymore. Like I said, it's tight, but not as tight as the others. So, what could be up with this? Is the SOB going to blow out or what? It tightened down, just not to where I couldn't move it anymore. I guess I'll find out if it's going to hold tomorrow on the way to Thunder.

It was prolly in a bind, I've noticed if they are in a bind they don't screw in as freely. I wouldn't worry about it until you start feeling a miss and chase it back to that cylinder.

Thank you for telling me that. I won't have to look hard is something wrong starts happening though.

Oh, yeah, forgot to mention. THe truck felt alot peppier with the new plugs. Of course, I did take out the Bosch Platinum 4 prongs and put in the NGK TR55s, so maybe that was why.

Did you use any anti-seize on the plugs?

Would you not recommend the Bosch? I put them in the stroker engine but am getting some knock sounds with them in. Does not induce KR until WOT at high RPM's ( 8 or so max ) but wondering if the TR55's would be better.
BTW, do hope you put some anti-seize on the threads, those socket holes are very soft....

Default Bosch "Crappier + 4"

When I replaced mine with the TR 55's I swear the truck felt better accelerating and just cruising down the road. Then when my mileage (sp.) went back up I swore to myself that I would never by "Crappier + 4's " again. And this was after only 30K miles. JMHO...Zed
