My problem too

I cut the tabs off the rails

Looked like this

Then I took my extra brackets from my tru-cool install a made brackets to hold the rails down.

The cross over tube will need to be tweaked to fit, but it will fit.. Just take your time and make all the right bends. Feel free to ask any question.

Thanks, hope it will do the trick. Was hoping they would fit without modification though.

From all the reading I had done before the swap, they said it was a direct swap. Then once I started swapping things over I was like WTF. So hopefully everything works out..

I really don't feel like modifying the fuel rails. What 42 or 44lb injectors can I use?

Anyone know of 42-44lb injectors that fit this intake? Really don't want to modify my fuel rails.

wow, thats wierd! I wondered what some guys were talking about when they were putting the old fuel rails on the nnbs intake from the nbs intake. They ground down the mounting tabs on the intake mani to get them to fit.

I know there is a fuel injection store online that sells injector extensions just for this purpose. Hint: think F. I. C.......

I think, let me double check that. Then you could use John's advice about clipping the injectors in first, adapters into the manifold, then the injector/rail assembly into the adapters. Fasten that bad boy down with stock bolts and be done with it. Only bad part about it is the adapter/extensions are around $12 a piece if I recall correctly.

I'm using the NNBS intake and rails, and using the Vette FPR to go from a return system to the returnless rails. The Marine injectors won't fit with the NNBS setup.

Thanks, I just looked on their website, didn't see anything but I'll give them a call tomorrow. Would rather have injectors that fit than having to get extensions, but at this point I just want to get the truck running. If $12 an injector is what it takes I'll go for it. Swapped heads, cam, and intake awhile ago and the injectors are the one thing holding me up.

I think I miss-spoke on that earlier recommendation, and now I cannot find those spacers I was referring to. I know they're out there. But I did just so happen to find a FAST spacer kit that might work for you part# 146025-KIT. Hope that helps. They look to be about $30.xx for a set to on sum site that ends with mit.
