MAP problem P0106

MAP problem P0106
Will Boost effect how the MAP sensor works? I keep getting an SES P0106 light. Its never came on before just all of the sudden. Only thing Ive been doing different is a lot of towing.
If this is not an issue has anyone ever had these things just go bad? I mean is it a common occurance on our rigs?
