I think that if you have 1.625" or larger shorties with a decent collector they will make a little more power than stock manifolds. So you may loose a little going back to the stock manifold.

Go with the Pacesetters if your on a budget. They seem to be the best bang for the buck. About the same price for shorties.

Where are they leaking from, where the header bolts to the head or to the y-pipe? If you're on a budget and can't afford new LT's, and it's where it bolts to the head, get some factory exhaust manifold gaskets and give that a shot. If they still leak, some high temp RTV should fix you up (the copper stuff that's orange). If it's leaking where the header bolts to the y-pipe, you could also try some hi-temp RTV and see if it works. When I installed my Gibson shorties, I used the copper RTV on the head to header gaskets and where the headers bolted to the y-pipe and had 5 years of service with no problems. They were still sealed perfectly when I removed them to upgrade to StainlessWorks LT's and catted y-pipe.
