I've heard this from 6 speed guys who are pushing a ton of power... I think you have to command the shift really early. Try making it earlier than 5500 to see of that helps the problem.

My tuner has a GM technician connect and he is willing to help out. He said that it was a timing issue and that the torque tables needed to be tweaked in someway. I guess we'll wait and see this Saturday. According to him, there's a 99% possibility that what he'll do will work.

Just an update. Everything is fine now. Tranny shifts 1 - 2 with no problems at 6400!

I have no clue what the GM guy did. My tuner couldn't see the file because the mappings won't appear on efi live. GM has way more mappings than we could ever think of. He gave us three versions of the file in case the first two don't work. The first one gladly worked. I'll see if I can find out what the guy did.

Only thing a GM tech can do with oe software is flash the tcm back to stock. Theres no tweaking he can do using oe software. Now if he has hp tuners efi live and knows what he's doing then he can tweak it.
