Default Main Caps interchange?

I'll be picking up a 6.0 block pretty soon thats missing a main cap and was wondering if I could get one from another block and get it align honed?

yup, just check the side tollereances

i don't think the trust main cap can go anywhere besides it's regular location though

anyone back that up with experience?

Why is the cap missing?? That'd be the first question I'd be answering. More than likely that cap that you're getting for a replacement will need to be resized. If the block needs to be line bored and everything resized, you'll need a custom timing chain to make up for the added slack. I'd stay away from it if I were you and look for something else.

I've already won it on ebay for $200, the heads are worth more than that so it's not loss if I can't make it work.
