Default magnaflows vs flowmasters

I know most guys on here run the magnaflows but i was wondering if any one had any real track times after changing from flowmasters to maganflows. Right now i have two 40 series but wouldn't hesitate changing them if it would pick up a tenth or so...

I'm not sure you'd see much of a difference

yeah magnaflows do flow better but your not gonna see that much difference like said above....flowmasters have baffles in them that are restrictive and magnaflows are straight through. flowmasters are a deeper more even sound and magnaflows are a bit more raspy, which i like more raspy lol

What I've noticed between the flowmaster/magnaflow battle is that a flowmaster seems to be the same volume throughout the RPM band, while a magnaflow gets louder as the engine revs higher. I think it might have something to do with the packing in the magnaflow soaking up more of the noise while the exhaust pulses are traveling slow, while getting louder as the exhaust moves faster.
